About Rainbow Six Siege Ranking System

What Ranks Can Play Together In Rainbow Six Siege?

Because Rainbow Six Siege rank no longer determines a player’s skill, there is no limit to the ranks who can play together. Typically, one lobby can contain both Copper and Gold players. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you are playing with friends whose skills are objectively much higher than yours, the game will try to balance the lobby and add players with the same high skills as you. How Does the R6 Rating System Work Exactly?

The old system had many incompatibilities, with players of very different levels placed together in the same lobby. Now, with Rainbow Six Siege’s updated ranking system, everyone has nearly the same chance of winning because MMR (Match Ranking) looks at various factors to measure how good they are. This means when you enter the lobby, you will be there with players with reaction times and accuracy close to yours.

In Rainbow Six Siege, SBMM is used to search any game lobby, not just ranked, so players will have hidden MMR from the first match. Level Requirements
